Energy upgrading of Quirinal Palace
In this very important reference, the energy engineering studio together with Galletti was able to respond to the needs of the client by carrying out a meticulous environmental monitoring and considering not only the environmental comfort of man, but also the maximum protection of the cultural heritage present in the rooms.
In order to ensure adequate conservation of both the wall frescoes and the valuable coatings, a special project has been developed on ESTRO, which has been integrated with an advanced ultrasonic humidification system, larger batteries and a special connection for centralized demineralized water, thus improving the microclimate of the rooms by limiting daily and seasonal temperature variations.
The machines were combined with the solid EVO regulation system for managing water, air and humidity probes, with a flooding alarm system capable of turning off the fan coil and sending a signal to the supervision system.
The affected rooms were: the Sala Gialla, Sala di Augusto, Sala degli Ambasciatori, Sala di Ercole and the Sala degli scrigni.
